An incredible race weekend experience you will never forget.
“My goal for The Marathon Project Experience is to give a select group of TMP participants the same level of personal attention I gave to the professional athletes I coached at the highest level of the sport. I want these 15 people to feel like a team, and when we go to the line in December I want them to have a race day that they will never forget.” - Ben Rosario

FAQ:
How individualized will my training be?
Completely. Ben Rosario, who has coached national champions, sub 2:10 marathoners, and Olympians will be your individual coach for 16 weeks. Ben will meet with you, learn about your training and racing history, and listen to your goals before writing your schedule. He will give you a general outline before the training begins and then provide you with your daily schedule 1-2 weeks at a time via Final Surge.
Can you tell me more about the Flagstaff Training Camp?
The Flagstaff trip will take place Thursday, November 13 through Sunday, November 16. All participants will stay at the Residence Inn in the heart of historic downtown Flagstaff. Thursday night will include dinner and a keynote speaker. Friday morning we will run together on one of the town’s beautiful dirt roads. Friday afternoon will include a training presentation and a Q&A session. Friday night will be another group dinner. Saturday will be a marathon specific long run on the world famous Lake Mary Road followed by an awesome brunch. After some much-needed rest, Saturday afternoon will include a shopping trip to Run Flagstaff where all participants will have a $250 gift certificate to spend! Saturday night will be our final team dinner and end-of-camp speech.
What about airfare?
Airfare is the only thing not included in the cost of the TMP Experience. For the Flagstaff Camp we encourage you to fly all the way to Flagstaff if you can. Otherwise, you can fly into Phoenix (two hours away). We will make every effort to provide rides to and from the airport (subject to arrival schedule).
For The Marathon Project we encourage you to fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. We will pick you up! We will also provide rides back to the airport on Saturday or Sunday for your departure.
Do I need to rent a car?
No, not necessarily. As mentioned above, we will make every effort to provide rides to and from the airport for the Flagstaff Camp. And we will provide rides to and from the airport on Marathon Project weekend.
